My mom asked me if I had a bedroom yet, which reminded me I haven't given an update about our housing snafu. Thank you for your prayers! We got it worked out. We'll be housing a group or two each week in another church's parsonage, and the host assigned to that group will stay there with them during the week. Otherwise, we've converted the office at our current location into another girl's room and our lone male host will stay in a "bedroom" made out of a storage space in the staff lounge. (He's going to go to the parsonage a lot, since that's not a real room and we'd end up waking him up all the time when we go in to get breakfast supplies.)
If that sounds sort of convoluted, that's because it is... but the good news is, the staff all gets to be in the same place for the summer! It would have been hard to stay close with everyone if we were at two different housing sites, so this is definitely a blessing. Most importantly... no one has to share a room with 35 middle-schoolers for the whole summer!
